Quit 4 Yourself

Pregnancy and social pressures during pregnancy can be powerful motivators to stop smoking. Sadly, some women start smoking again after giving birth. Perhaps it's because they feel forced into quitting or made to feel guilty due to social stigmas about smoking when pregnant. Some experience “the baby blues”, and start smoking again as a response to this.

Remember that stopping smoking has huge health benefits for you long term.

Women with partners who smoke are more likely to relapse after the birth so it may be a good idea to see if your partner would like to quit smoking too.

Good luck with quitting – do it for yourself as well as your baby!
